WHAT IS hydroponics?

Hydroponics is the farming of the future.

In places like Wisconsin where the growing season is limited to the warm months, adaptive farming methods are necessary in order to see healthy food grown locally year-round.

At Hundred Acre, there’s no off-season. It’s always perfectly warm and humid in the grow room at the farm, which we like to call… “endless summer.”

Our farm is…

INDOORS. Our advanced technology allows us to recreate the optimal grow conditions 365 days a year.

VERTICAL. Our grow beds are stacked 5 layers high, meaning we can grow 5x more food per square foot compared to traditional farming methods.

HYDROPONIC. Our plants grow directly in a nutrient-rich water solution that recirculates through the system, meaning we use 95% less water than a traditional farm would need for the same plants. And no soil means no need for any pesticides or herbicides ever.
