Chris Corkery is a chef, urban farmer, and far-sighted visionary, and the Founder and CEO of Hundred Acre.

After a successful run in the NYC advertising scene, Chris quit the rat race and turned his sights to food, pursuing a culinary degree and then working as a chef in several renowned restaurants in New York.

It was then, as he was sourcing fresh ingredients at the early morning street markets, that he began imagining a better, more sustainable and localized food system. Less than a year later, he secured a space in the heart of Milwaukee to launch a revolutionary and sustainable approach to growing food.

Since 2021, Chris has grown Hundred Acre into Wisconsin’s largest indoor vertical hydroponic farm, with a faithful following of restaurants, schools, event venues, sports stadiums, grocers and consumers. And he’s just getting started.
